Total spine care provider committed to treating back and neck pain with the least invasive approach is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. Group offers a wide range of non-invasive therapies and pain management services. Team currently consists of 3 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. Surgeries are performed in their own Ambulatory Surgery Center.

  • Assist surgeon in the operating room (positioning, sterile prep, retraction, wound closure, entering orders)
  • Perform patient clinical office visits and evaluations on both new and existing patients (order imaging, sign prescriptions, triaging severity of presentation)
  • Round on post-operative hospital patients and take rotating call
  • Complete disability and workers’ compensation paperwork
  • Attend executive staff meetings, cadaver labs, and grand rounds
  • Other tasks and duties as determined

  • Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery (MISS)
  • Oblique Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion (OLLIF)
  • Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF)
  • Direct Thoracic Interbody Fusion (MIS-DTIF)
  • Direct Lateral Interbody Fusion (MIS-DLIF)
  • Facet Fusion
  • Sacroiliac (SI) Joint Fusion
  • Microdiscectomy
  • Artificial Disc Replacement
  • Laminotomy
  • Laminoplasty

Group has a strong desire to train on the latest cutting edge procedures, with each candidate being required to complete a comprehensive training program customized to the needs of each individual employee.

Education:

  • PA certified by NCCPA with current state license
  • New PA grads welcome

or

  • FNP or DNP with current RN and APRN license
  • Preferably in 3-5 years experience in a surgical specialty
