Medical Center is seeking a certified Nurse Midwife to join our established, hospital-employed OB/GYN group in Columbus, GA.

• The practice is located in 20k sq ft a state of the art medical office building attached to the hospital
• Opening is due to our current CNM moving to call only and no longer seeing patients in the clinic
• Our practice is comprised of 8 physicians and 3 midwives (4 when fully staffed)
• Our midwives cover a range of women's healthcare services, including co-management of high risk obstetrical patients – please note that this is not a hospitalist position and requires both clinic and inpatient coverage, including call rotation
• Lab, in-office ultrasound, NST and our full service women's center
• 24 hour shifts
• Hours are M-Th 8-5 and Fridays are a half day; The midwives are off the next day, following call
• About a 60/40 split OB to Gyn including IUD insertions and removals
• Level I NICU
• Our group performs anywhere from 960 to 1200 deliveries a year
• TeamHealth manages our hospitalist group
• EMR is Cerner in practice and hospital
• Proud to be the first hospital in Georgia to have earned Perinatal Care Certification from The Joint Commission
