WORK WITH A BUSY NEUROLOGIST IN AN OUTPATIENT SETTING

This practice is part of a large Multi-Specialty that offers many services, with onsite laboratory, CT, MRI, EEG and EMG are on-site, and an accredited Sleep Lab. Thus PA or NP is not assumed to be proficient in procedures, but must be familiar with the neurological examinations and major diseases entities.

The provider will see patients who deal with various neurological diseases. They work a Monday to Friday 830 to 430 work week with no weekend hospital or evening duties.

The responsibilities for this NP or PA will include:

• Patient examination and evaluation
• Ordering and evaluating diagnostic studies
• Patient education

To qualify for this position

• Certified PA or NP
• Experience in Neurology is desirable, as is a willingness to learn the essentials of this specialty.
• Portuguese a + but not necessary
• Be familiar with the neurological examination and major disease entities.
