IHA and St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor (SJMAA) have an excellent contingent employment opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner interested in Obstetrics to join a large multi-specialty team located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 

The selected provider must be interested in providing post-partum care for vaginal and operative deliveries to assure a smooth transition to post-partum care. The provider will be expected to coordinate Interdisciplinary Rounds with postpartum nurses and coordinate care with the shared call team.

The contingent schedule for this opportunity will be a few days within the hospital each month. The selected provider will round on IHA's post-partum inpatients and will not be involved in the delivery process.

Minimum required qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an accredited NP/PA program
  • Master's Degree
  • State of Michigan License
  • Active and Current DEA
  • PA Certification, NP with Women's Health Certification or NP Acute Care Certification
  • Interest in Obstetric Medicine
  • Prior inpatient experience in Women’s Health is required
