Seeking a BC Nurse Practitioner to join a Duncan, AZ clinic. Multi-lingual preferred (English, Spanish, Navajo). Pay is $52.25 to $74 per hour depending on experience.


Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Prior experience in a highly independent clinic setting required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nursing program.
• Licensed or ability to obtain a license in the State of Arizona.

About the Area:

Duncan, lying three miles from the border of New Mexico in the extreme southeastern corner of Greenlee County, is a small farming town located on the Gila River and near adjacent riparian areas that are great for bird and wildlife observation. Retrace the steps of Old West pioneers, Apache Indians, lawmen, outlaws, cowboys, rustlers, gamblers, and Mormon settlers as you traverse the county east to west on the Old West Highway. Experience railroad and farm town Americana here in Duncan and the surrounding Gila River Valley where farmers grow cotton (and other crops) and ranchers raise cattle (two of Arizona’s famous 5 Cs — cotton, cattle, copper, climate, and citrus). It is just a short drive to The Gila National Forest, which is 3.3 million acres of forested hills, majestic mountains and range land. It is probably best known for its wilderness areas, in particular the Gila Wilderness - the first wilderness in the United States. The magnificent mountain scenery, cool summer temperatures and relatively warm winters permit a wide range of recreational opportunities during all seasons.
