Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant will work directly with an Upper Extremity Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. The position includes a combination of the clinic and the OR. The Physician Assistant will run their own orthopedic clinic seeing both new and follow-up patients. Call is one day every 25!
Responsibilities include: first assist, patient evaluations and ED consultation, injections, fracture reductions, joint aspirations, rounding and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in a hospital setting.
The doctor will train a recent graduate with a strong interest in orthopedics. The group is located just over one hour north of Minneapolis. The location provides a great quality of life, low cost of living, theater and culture, near universities, easy access to outdoor recreational activities and all the amenities of a major metro area.
Compensation: Excellent compensation and benefits plan. There is a benefits package provided which includes 401k profit sharing, medical, dental, vision, four weeks of vacation, one-week CME, insurance and other benefits.
