Hospitalist NP Needed in Louisiana

Board Certified NP providers only

They will only accept NP’s with acute care experience

Must have active LA license

They will take on call every other night

Will take admissions and rounding

• Temps available for clean files; No malpractice ONLY
• 5,110 annual ED volume
• 161 Hospital beds
• APP shift;10a – 10p will take call every other night
• Open ICU. (The Bylaws for Minden state that the NP’s can do admissions in the ICU however, the MD has to see them the same day as well. So normally the MD just takes all the ICU patients.)
• Average volume 25 per day (The daily admission varies. Some days they may get 1-4 and the next day they may get 9-11. The MD and NP normally split the patient load evenly.)
• Services include: CT scan, ICU, Nuclear Medicine, Physical Therapy
