PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER – MASSACHUSETTS

*Will take adult psych or geriatric psych experience
**Local candidates are preferred. May consider out-of-states candidates, but strongly prefer local as this could be a long-term opening.

• Must have MA license
• Reason for the opening: Retirement
• Length of time requesting the locum: Until permanent replacement
• Size of group: 2 FTE, 1 PT providers offering additional coverage
• Call Schedule: 1 weekend per month (F-Sun), one week night/week
• Estimated start date: ASAP
• Schedule: M-F 8a-5p, one weeknight/week and on-call from home but on weekend includes rounding
• Inpatient, Outpatient or both: Inpatient Geri-Psych and Med/Surg consults
• Patient Volume: 19 bed unit; 342 discharges per year.
• Any procedures required? No
• What systems are used? Athena, Meditech, Dragon
• How much experience required – 2 years

Certifications required, if applicable: Board Certified with experience in general psychiatry. Training/Experience in geriatric psychiatry preferred but NOT REQUIRED
